Tech Forge, operating in Honduras, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy. This policy applies to the techforgehq.com website, our contact forms, and our communications with clients and prospects, including communications through WhatsApp.

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company, role, and the content of your questions or requests.
• WhatsApp communications: phone number, profile name, technical identifiers provided by Meta, date and time, delivery status, and any message content or files you choose to share.
• Website data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referral source, and technical or session identifiers used to measure website performance.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data. Please do not share sensitive information that is not necessary for us to address your request.

We do not use message content for advertising unrelated to that relationship, sell personal data, or share conversations with third parties for their own marketing. Meta may process information under its own policies when operating WhatsApp and its business platform.

We may start or continue a conversation when you contact us, request information, have a business relationship with Tech Forge, or have authorized us to use that channel. You may ask us to stop communicating with you through WhatsApp at any time.

We process information to:

• respond to inquiries and coordinate conversations with clients or prospects;
• deliver, administer, and follow up on our services;
• register opportunities and maintain the history needed for the business relationship;
• protect the website, prevent abuse, and verify that forms are submitted by people;
• measure aggregate website usage and improve its operation; and
• comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Depending on the circumstances, we process this information to address your request, perform a contractual relationship, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests related to Tech Forge operations and security.

We may use providers that process data under our instructions, including Meta and WhatsApp for messaging, Cloudflare for infrastructure and abuse prevention, Notion for contact management, and PostHog for website analytics. We provide only the information necessary for them to perform their function.

Some providers may process information outside Honduras. In those cases, we seek to use reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures to protect it. We may also disclose information when required by a competent authority or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, to maintain the client relationship, and to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. We then securely delete or anonymize it unless the law requires us to retain it.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational controls to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, correction, updating, objection, or deletion of your data, and you may ask us to stop sending messages through WhatsApp. Email contact@techforgehq.com with the subject “Personal data request” and include the related phone number or email address.

1. We will acknowledge the request and, when necessary, ask for reasonable information to verify your identity.
2. We will locate the associated information in our systems and providers.
3. We will address the request within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention duties and permitted exceptions.

Deleting a conversation from WhatsApp on your device does not automatically delete records that we may need to retain. To request deletion from our systems, use the procedure above.

The website may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and measure visits, navigation, and conversions. Our analytics configuration does not use session recording or send your name, email address, phone number, or contact-form text to PostHog. You may limit cookies through your browser settings; some functions may be affected.

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, providers, or legal requirements. We will publish the current version at this same URL and state its effective date. If a change is material, we will seek to communicate it through a reasonable channel.
